June 2023 Individual Due Dates

A calendar, plant and books.

June 12: Report Tips to Employer

If you are an employee who received more than $20 in tips during May, report them to your employer on IRS Form 4070 by this date.

June 15: Estimated Tax Payment Due

Make your second quarter estimated tax payment for the 2023 tax year. This applies to self-employed individuals and those with other sources of income not covered by withholding.

June 15: Taxpayers Living Abroad

If you are a U.S. citizen or resident alien living and working outside the United States and Puerto Rico, the filing due date for your 2022 income tax return and any tax payment is June 15. You can obtain an additional 4 months to file by filing Form 4868, but it doesn't extend the time to pay any tax liability.

Please note that weekends, holidays, and disaster area designations can affect the due dates. It's always advisable to consult with a tax professional or refer to official tax authority sources for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding specific tax deadlines for your jurisdiction and situation.
